What brings us to the practice of yoga? I was in my 40s, and in need of healing.
I began the study of yoga in 1996 at Inward Bound Yoga in Ann Arbor, Michigan and completed my 200 hr Yoga Teaching Certification in 2006 at the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, California. My recent certifications include SUP Yoga in 2016 and Childlight Teacher Training in 2018. Once I found my way to the mat, I never left.
I have helped others on the path of yoga at Inward Bound Yoga, The University of Michigan Matthaei Botanical Gardens, Washtenaw Community College Emeritas Program, and the Wellness Centers in Ann Arbor, Dexter and Chelsea.
With the breath as your guide, I design classes that incorporate music, cultivate body awareness, develop strength and flexibility, and bring body and mind into balance.I encourage students to find the joy in each day, each breath, each posture in life.
