Lisa Lemley
RYT200
Lisa’s yoga journey began in the early 1990s with a weekly Kundalini practice that sparked a lifelong exploration of the mind-body connection. Over the years, she immersed herself in a variety of yoga styles—including Ashtanga—before completing her 200-hour certification through the Teaching from the Heart program at Asheville Yoga Center in 2025.
Lisa teaches yoga as a pathway to presence, transformation, and self-compassion. Her classes invite students to move mindfully, release habitual patterns, and reconnect with their bodies as sacred instruments of awareness.
In addition to yoga, Lisa brings a rich background in the healing arts. She is also a teacher of Medical Qi Gong, a Reiki practitioner, sound healer, Esalen® Massage Therapist, and transformational coach. These practices subtly inform her class offerings with depth, intuition, and care.
Off the mat, Lisa finds joy in preparing food as medicine, hiking, dancing, and time unwinding in or near water.
